It is part of a 2200-mile interstate route that has a significant footprint in nine states. But I-70 in Missouri has a special characteristic\u2014it has more billboards per mile than any other state along the route. As can be seen in the chart below, Missouri boasts 3.64 billboards per mile along its I-70 corridor. This is 2.5 times the average of its adjacent neighbors. Missouri has a billboard problem.
